Introduction to Literature II is a continuation of the freshman course.
Both years of the Introduction to Literature course aim to provide students with as broad of a range of material as we can cover in the students’ first two years. Similar to freshmen year, our sophomores have a required program of studies in vocabulary and essay composition, and the reading units of this course range from the novel (both 19th and 20th century), short fiction, novellas, plays and poetry. The main objective is to solidify and broaden the students’ foundation in the basic communication skills.
