April 26th – Poem In Your Pocket Day

April is Poetry Month, and as April winds down to its end, you can celebrate National Poem In Your Pocket Day. The idea is pretty straightforward: Print up a copy of a poem that you like and carry it around with you on the 26th. Give it to a friend, read it to a class, trade with someone else, it it up to you! The English Department will have a table set up with a wide selection of poems chosen by the website poets.org in case you need inspiration. As you walk past our table, grab a poem! It might grab you back…
